View the Lunar Eclipse at the ¼ÓÌÙÊÓÆµ James & Barbara Moore Observatory

MAY 5, 2022 – PUNTA GORDA, FLA – Sky gazers can view the lunar eclipse on Sunday, May 15, at the James & Barbara Moore Observatory located on the Florida SouthWestern State College (¼ÓÌÙÊÓÆµ) Charlotte Campus, 26300 Airport Road, Punta Gorda. The viewing is free and open to the public.
The lunar eclipse will take place on Sunday, May 15, from 11:30 p.m. – 1 a.m. The observatory will be open from 9 p.m. – 1 a.m. Telescopes will be available for public viewing, and visitors are encouraged to bring their own binoculars. The event is weather permitting.
