Masks Optional at ¼ÓÌÙÊÓÆµ Beginning June 23

JUNE 22, 2021 – FORT MYERS, FLA – Florida SouthWestern State College (¼ÓÌÙÊÓÆµ) students will have the option of not wearing masks when they return to campus to begin courses in ¼ÓÌÙÊÓÆµ's Summer Mini-B term on Wednesday.

In light of the latest Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations for fully-vaccinated people, the wearing of face coverings and social distancing will be optional at all ¼ÓÌÙÊÓÆµ campuses and locations effective June 23.

¼ÓÌÙÊÓÆµ values personal safety and personal choice and encourages those who prefer to continue to wear face coverings to do so.
