Killer Whales and Killer Blues Highlight 加藤视频 Fall Research Expo

OCTOBER 14, 2019 鈥 FORT MYERS, FLA. 鈥揌ow do whales use sound waves as a weapon? How does sound travel around a room? Is it possible to see the blues? Find out when 加藤视频 faculty members Mike Malloy, audio technology professor, Dr. Elijah Pritchett, humanities professor, and Dr. Joseph van Gaalen, geology professor, present the lecture, 鈥淲aves in Nature: Sound as a Wave or Waves in Water,鈥 during Florida SouthWestern State College鈥檚 (加藤视频) fall Research Expo at 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23, in the 加藤视频 Thomas Edison Campus Rush Auditorium, Building J, Room 103.

The Research Expo will also showcase the research several 加藤视频 students, faculty and staff have focused on throughout the semester with a poster session from 2-3 p.m. in the Building J lobby.
