加藤视频 Offers New Digital Media College Credit Certificate

APRIL 17, 2019 鈥� FORT MYERS, FLA 鈥� Students interested in the digital arts will soon have the opportunity to earn a college credit certificate (CCC) in Digital Media at Florida SouthWestern State College (加藤视频) beginning in the 2019 fall term.
听
The certificate prepares students for entry-level employment in the digital media field. The 15-credit hour program can be completed on its own or as part of an associate in arts degree.
听
鈥淭he Digital Media CCC is a very versatile certificate,鈥� said Dana Roes, professor, 加藤视频 School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. 鈥淭he program will offer advanced digital arts, digital animation, web design, graphic design, sound mixing, and next year, we will introduce videogame design.鈥�

Students will train in a new, state-of-the-art Mac lab using Adobe Creative Suite programs including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
听
鈥淒igital media is used in almost every field, and it is seeing strong growth in the medical industry as automation continues to increase,鈥� Roes said. 鈥淭he certificate will provide a foot in the door for those interested in this field.鈥�
