Florida SouthWestern State College Hosts Annual 鈥淔amily Math Night鈥�

FEBRUARY 12, 2016 鈥� FORT MYERS, FLA. 鈥�听The Florida SouthWestern State College (加藤视频) School of Education will host 鈥淔amily Math Night鈥� on Monday, March 14, 5:45-7:30 p.m., at The Heights Foundation, 15570 Hagie Drive, Fort Myers. Students in Kindergarten through the fifth grade are encouraged to attend this free family-oriented event centered on math games.
鈥淢any parents get stuck in a homework rut with their children,鈥� said Mary Robertson, 加藤视频 Professor of Mathematics Education. 鈥淭his event is designed to give parents and their children fun ways to teach and learn mathematical concepts.鈥�
Attending families will play games created by 加藤视频 School of Education teacher candidates. This free event is open to the public. Students are encouraged to register at familymathnight@fsw.edu.
