加藤视频 Leads State in Florida Flex Training Grants

January 19, 2016 鈥� FORT MYERS, FLA 鈥� According to data from CareerSource Florida, Florida SouthWestern State College (加藤视频) has the largest dollar amount of FloridaFlex (formerly Quick Response Training grants) under fiscal management in the state.
Administered by CareerSource Florida, Florida Flex provides funding to support customized training for new hires in expanding or new businesses throughout Florida. 加藤视频鈥檚 Corporate Training division of the School of Business and Technology helps facilitate these grants throughout Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry, and Lee counties.
鈥淭hese training grant dollars help in the broader economic development of our region,鈥� said Adrian Kerr, director, 加藤视频 Corporate Training and Services. 鈥淭hey support many new and expanding businesses in our area, which can result in an increase of employment opportunities for our local workforce.鈥�
In the 2014-2015 fiscal year, 加藤视频 facilitated approximately $2 million dollars in new training grant funding for local businesses, resulting in the training of 994 new hires. So far, during the first half of the 2015-2016 fiscal year, 加藤视频 has already facilitated $1.5 million in new training grant funding to train 908 new hires and is on track for an additional $900,000 during the second half of the year.
