Florida SouthWestern State College (加藤视频) Head Softball Coach Robert Iamurri has named Chelsea Wildey the team鈥檚 Assistant Softball Coach.

鈥淐helsea has been honored not only for her play and a batting average above .300, but also her academic achievements,鈥 said Iamurri. 鈥淪he knows what it takes to be a team leader, along with firsthand experience as a former student-athlete. She can easily relate to our players.鈥

鈥淭his is an incredible opportunity to take what I learned as a student-athlete and share that with the team,鈥 said Wildey. 鈥淏eing part of a new program is exciting. It鈥檚 not often you get the chance to help shape a program from the start.鈥

Wildey began her college softball career at State College of Florida. She led the team to a 52-8 record and a sixth place finish as nationals during her freshman year.
