Earn Academic Credit for Industry Certification: Students who hold a valid industry certification earned within the last 3 years and have successfully completed at least 12 credit hours in the AS in Computer Programming and Analysis program may receive free academic credits toward the degree. Earn Academic Credit for Career Certificate Program: Career Certificate programs (previously known as a Postsecondary Adult Vocational Certificate) consist of a series of vocational and/or college credit courses that prepare students for entry-level employment in specific career fields. Upon completion of the certificate program, students continuing their education in a related A.S. degree program may be awarded credit in selected A.S. degree courses.
