Degrees/Certificates
Graduates of the AS, Accounting Technology Degree can matriculate into the BAS, Supervision & Management Degree at Florida SouthWestern State College.聽Career Certificate programs (previously known as a Postsecondary Adult Vocational Certificate) consist of a series of vocational and/or college credit courses that prepare students for entry-level employment in specific career fields. Upon completion of the certificate program, students continuing their education in a related A.S. degree program may be awarded credit in selected A.S. degree courses.
Program Information
Curriculum: The AS in Accounting Technology program includes courses in financial and managerial accounting, finance, management, and insurance.聽 Students in this program have the opportunity to participate in the VITA program, which provides free tax-preparation services to low-income, disabled, or limited English-speaking clients.聽 Duration: The AS in Accounting Technology consists of 60 credit hours and can be completed in 2 years with full-time enrollment. The program is designed for both full-time and part-time students. Courses are offered in online and traditional formats to accommodate students鈥� varying schedules and learning preferences.
